A message from Pastor Bill

Let me take this opportunity to welcome you to our web site on behalf of everyone at Silencio Church.
We are a bible-believing church based on the beautiful holiday island of Tenerife.
Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands that make up the Canary Island archipelago and lies between the 28th and the 29th parallel north and 16° and 17° west. Slightly to the north of the Tropic of Cancer, situated in the centre of the chain, between Gran Canaria, La Gomera and La Palma. The island is just over 300 km from the African coast, and about 1,300 km from the Spanish Mainland.
If you are a resident here or on holiday in the area, why not come and join us! We would love to meet you.

Our church membership is made up of a variety of ages and backgrounds. Our congregation includes children, teenagers and young families along with those who are of middle to older years. Most members have settled here in Tenerife and work locally on the island, others have chosen to retire here and enjoy our sub-tropical year-long climate, Tenerife is known as the island of "eternal spring".
We seek to use the gifts of all the members to the glory of God.

Our praise and worship style is contemporary and is led by our worship band "Bought with a Price". The words of the songs appear on the overhead projector screen and we encourage participation - our worship times are often lively.
